Geometric approach to global asymptotic stability for the SEIRS models in epidemiology

In this paper, we present a more general criterion for the global asymptotic stability of equilibria for nonlinear autonomous differential equations based on the geometric criterion developed by Li and Muldowney. By applying this criterion, we obtain some results for the global asymptotic stability of SEIRS models with constant recruitment and varying total population size. Based on these results, we give a complete affirmative answer to Liu–Hethcote–Levin conjecture. Furthermore, an affirmative answer to Li–Graef–Wang–Karsai’s problem for SEIR model with permanent immunity and varying total population size is given.     

Analysis and modeling of radiometric error caused by imaging blur in optical remote sensing systems

Imaging blur changes the digital output values of imaging systems. It leads to radiometric errors when the system is used for measurement. In this paper, we focus on the radiometric error due to imaging blur in remote sensing imaging systems. First, in accordance with the radiometric response calibration of imaging systems, we provide a theoretical analysis on the evaluation standard of radiometric errors caused by imaging blur. Then, we build a radiometric error model for imaging blur based on the natural stochastic fractal characteristics of remote sensing images. Finally, we verify the model by simulations and physical defocus experiments. The simulation results show that the modeling estimation result approaches to the simulation computation. The maximum difference of relative MSE (Mean Squared Error) between simulation computation and modeling estimation can achieve 1.6%. The physical experimental results show that the maximum difference of relative MSE between experimental results and modeling estimation is only 1.29% under experimental conditions. Simulations and experiments demonstrate that the proposed model is correct, which can be used to estimate the radiometric error caused by imaging blur in remote sensing images. This research is of great importance for radiometric measurement system evaluation and application.

为研究不同双方程湍流模型对制退机内复杂流场计算的适用性,以某火炮制退机为研究对象,建立了实际结构下的三维计算模型,利用动网格与滑移网格技术,实现了火炮实际后坐速度下的制退机内部三维运动流场的数值计算。分别采用标准k-ε模型、RNGk-ε模型和Realizable k-ε模型计算制退机内部各腔室压力,与实验曲线对比,结果表明,应用标准k-ε模型对后坐冲击过程的制退机内部压力计算的误差最小,与实验结果吻合最好。     

Shrinking Projection Methods for a Family of Quasi-φ-Strict Asymptotically Pseudo-Contractions in Banach Spaces

The purpose of this article is to propose a shrinking projection method and prove a strong convergence theorem for a family of quasi-φ-strict asymptotically pseudo-contractions. Its results hold in reflexive, strictly convex, smooth Banach spaces with the property (K). The results of this paper improve and extend the results of Matsushita and Takahashi, Marino and Xu, Zhou and Gao and others.

In this paper,a strong converse inequality of type B in terms of a new Kfunctional Kλα f,t2(0 < α < 2,0 ≤ λ ≤ 1) for certain mixed Szász-Beta operators is given.By this inequality,the converse theorem can be obtained for the operators.

轴向脉冲磁场增强金属射流侵彻穿深能力的因素

为掌握轴向脉冲磁场对金属射流的作用规律,基于破甲弹金属射流对目标的作用原理及磁场与金属射流之间的相互作用关系,设计了励磁线圈对破甲弹金属射流作用的试验系统,并开展了相关实弹试验,突破了金属射流形成和励磁线圈脉冲电流产生之间时序匹配的关键技术,得出了使金属射流发生有效变形的合理储能电容器组电参数和励磁线圈结构参数。试验结果表明,当电容器电压为5 kV、电容为1 200 μF、励磁线圈长度为50 mm时,破甲弹金属射流对目标靶板的侵彻穿深增量最大,破甲效果最佳;各因素对破甲弹金属射流侵彻穿深能力影响程度由大到小分别是电容器组充电电压、电容器组电容、线圈长度。研究成果为破甲弹威力电磁增强技术可行性论证、原理试验及励磁线圈结构设计提供了重要的理论和技术支撑。     

Iterative convergence theorems for maximal monotone operators and relatively nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, some iterative schemes for approximating the common element of the set of zero points of maximal monotone operators and the set of fixed points of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a real uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space are proposed. Some strong convergence theorems are obtained, to extend the previous work.
